Standing Mirror Maintenance Guide
The efficiency of a mirror depends on how clean you keep it. The cleaner the mirror is, the better reflection you’ll see. So there is probably not any extra motivation needed to clean your mirror regularly.
For best results, give your wall or standing mirror a wipe every day. You need to conduct a detailed cleaning session at least once a week to keep your mirror in its optimum condition. First, take a soft cloth and wipe the mirror and the sides. This will reduce the thin layer of dust that is bound to collect no matter where you place the mirror. But if you wipe it with a cloth every day, that dust layer will be almost invisible.
Then you need to pick a solution to use in your mirror. You can just sprinkle some warm water and wipe it off with a soft cloth. For added effect, you can mix some white vinegar or dishwashing liquid with the water to apply on the mirror. It makes the mirror spotless and brings an unmatchable shine.
If the mirror has too many smudges or grimes visible, use a soft sponge instead of a cloth and scrub the mirror gently with a solution of dishwashing liquid and water. Wipe off the residues with a soft damp cloth and then wipe it again with a dry, soft microfiber cloth.
Make sure to wipe the sides of the mirrors with a dry cloth. You can use a damp cloth but make sure it contains as little water as possible. After you’re done, let the mirror dry off completely.
There are also standard mirror-cleaning bottled solutions available. You can give that a try as well. Just spray the solution on the mirror and wipe it off with a lint-free cloth. Make sure you clean the mirror at least once a week with the above method.
Avoid using any hard sponge on the mirror since it can permanently scratch the surface.
We hope you managed to get an idea about the kind of mirrors that are available for you in the market. All you need to do is pick one from the list above and make the room shine brighter.
